Sailing Away

/by Sejo Pan

Departing from the port shortly stopped by
The heart, sunk to the bottom of the sea,
Failed to unanchor.
Love is a devouring storm
Too fearful to turn back to.

The pale waves rock lucid dreams
The hazy longing
With the tide, has flooded
To the deckÁÏs brim.
The pole scraping away the thick fog above the sea
The lost soul
With the faintest breath, seeking
A navigating star
To steer itself to
The dim light afar.

When the wind rises again
The sail is to be set.
Though my chest, that has your name inscribed
The wound that bleeds
Will soak in the sea and the pain
Must bear.
